Sewing, dressmaking and crafting has seen a boom with the need for sustainability and the trend for retro styling, people are again interested in making handmade quality garments and creating bespoke crafts. The rewards from learning how to sew are numerous – pride in creating something original, increased confidence/self-esteem, improved patience, relaxation, improves hand to eye co-ordination.
